About Nicole McLaren, MSc
Nicole McLaren graduated from Phillips Academy, Andover in 2002 and went on to earn an undergraduate degree in Economics from Princeton University in 2006. She holds a Masters degree in Globalization and Development and recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Policy Studies – both from institutes of the prestigious University of London. Nicole has also studied at Stanford University on scholarship to the Summer Institute in Mathematics. Nicole is an active member of the St. Andrew High School Foundation, and an alumni recruiter, interviewer, and fundraiser for Andover and Princeton. She also recently joined the Women’s Leadership Initiative, Jamaica (a committee of the United Way) and looks forward to continuing service to the community. 
 
Nicole has always been driven by a passion for service. At age 13 she represented Jamaica at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Junior Summit and highlighted issues of equity and access with respect to technology in education. Her work has been featured in newspapers including USA Today (USA), the Herald (Jamaica), the Jamaica Observer (Jamaica) and the Gleaner (Jamaica). She has appeared on CNN and Nickelodeon’s Millenium Special “The Future According to Kids,” and was chosen as one of “20 Teens Who Will Change the World” by Teen People Magazine. 
 
As a student, Nicole received numerous awards for academic achievement and community involvement, and has spent summers volunteering, interning on Wall Street and travelling. Her experience encompasses teaching English and Mathematics, and serving as a tutor in the Department of Government at the University of the West Indies. She is currently a Senior Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Education.In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her 1-year old niece. 
 
After helping friends and relatives successfully navigate the admissions process, Nicole decided to combine her love for teaching and unique experience to create A.I.M. Educational Services Ltd. As a recent graduate and alumni interviewer for Andover and Princeton with a strong personal record of achievement, Nicole McLaren understands how to prepare students for admission to the school of their choice. She recently completed an intensive training institute hosted by the Independent Educational Consultants Association where she gained valuable knowledge and insight, and became part of an international network of Educational Consultants. Nicole is not only focused on the success of students in the admissions process, but on empowering students for success in life.
